of hazardous materials both by air and ocean. A training program is maintained
for our employees which keeps us in compliance with the training regulations
as required by the IATA/ICAO regulations.
As the shipper is responsible for the preparation of hazardous
materials certificates and the proper packing of the materials, and as
Elite as a freight forwarder by law is not authorized to perform either
function, we have established a relationship with several hazardous materials
packers which enables us to offer you a source for your packing and certification
of dangerous goods needs.
Transportation of dangerous goods requires liaison between
the shipper, the airline, and the receiving country. Elite maintains a
database of current import practices around the world.
